A UNIQUE EXPERIENCE

A jewel is always the expression of a feeling.

DOR Museum is a Jewellery Museum and Art Center within La Fortalesa cultural complex.

A space dedicated to the world of jewellery and to the profession of the craftsmen who make it possible to transform a jewel into the expression of a feeling.

The first floor holds several rooms related to the world of jewellery in the 20th century: arts and crafts, jewellery, silverware, gemmology and the exhibition of the works of contemporary jewellery designers. The second floor houses a space for temporary art exhibitions, which currently shows art works by Josep Maria Subirachs and Robert Llimós.

We also have the DOR shop and the DOR restaurant.

In a separate building we have the Quim Hereu Space where the creative process of this artist is shown. The visitor goes deep inside the mountain to discover a new art style called “Strambotism” within a room which holds an enormous Trilogy of oil on canvas.
